Full or Part Time Employment

All Applications must include:     
  1. Application Form (fillable online)
  2. Cover Letter
  3. Resume
  4. Three References with contact information
  5. NCPA Form
Please submit all additional materials at the same time in one email or deliver directly to the school.

Completed Teaching Applications must include the above and the following:

  1. Transcripts (copies are acceptable for the initial application)
  2.  Copy of appropriate teaching certificate 
  3. Submit a statement on the following - Express your philosophy of education as it pertains to the position for which you are applying.

Substitute Teacher Special Instructions
In addition to completing steps 1-5 for "All Applications," Substitute teaching positions must provide completed fingerprints and submit to a background check.

1. Get fingerprints done:
  • City Hall (406-821-3743) - $30.00
  • Ravalli County Sheriff's Office (406-375-4060) - $25.00
  • Missoula Police Department (406-552-6000) - $11.00
2. Return fingerprint card with check or money order of $27.25 made out to the Department of Criminal Justice. (This fee of $27.25 will be refunded after you have subbed five times).

3. Once our office receives a clean fingerprint report from the state (appx two weeks), and we have a completed application, you will be placed on the next Board agenda for hiring approval.

Qualifications: Valid Montana Teaching Certificate with endorsement of areas assigned 

Reports to: Elementary Principal 

Job Goal: To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation

Library/Media Specialist

Qualifications: Valid Montana Teaching Certificate with Library Endorsement 

Report to: High School and Elementary Principles 

Job Goal: To provide all students with an enriched Library environment containing a wide variety of materials that invite intellectual growth and to aid all students in acquiring the skills needed to take full advantage of Library resources.
