All Applications must include:

  4. Three References with contact information
  5. NCPA Form

Completed Teaching Applications must include the above and the following:

  1. Transcripts (copies are acceptable for the initial application)
  2.  Copy of appropriate teaching certificate 
  3. Submit a statement on the following - Express your philosophy of education as it pertains to the position for which you are applying.

Substitute Teacher Special Instructions
In addition to completing steps 1-5 for "All Applications," Substitute teaching positions must provide completed fingerprints and submit to a background check.

1. Get fingerprints done:
  • City Hall (406-821-3743) - $30.00
  • Ravalli County Sheriff's Office (406-375-4060) - $25.00
  • Missoula Police Department (406-552-6000) - $11.00
2. Return fingerprint card with check or money order of $27.25 made out to the Department of Criminal Justice. (This fee of $27.25 will be refunded after you have subbed five times).

3. Once our office receives a clean fingerprint report from the state (appx two weeks), and we have a completed application, you will be placed on the next Board agenda for hiring approval.

Technology Education/Industrial Arts

Job Posting:  Technology Education/Industrial Arts

Grade level: 7-12

School: Darby Public School

Location:  Darby, MT

Qualifications: Certified Teacher/Class 4 Teaching License 

Salary:  See Salary Matrix 

Job Description: Instructor must be certified and have knowledge of content area.  Works well with students, staff, and community. See district office for more details. 

Other Notes:  Currently our Industrial Arts program teaches Construction Trades, Welding/Metals, CNC machining, automotive elective, and one junior high class.  The facilities have quality equipment suited to these classes. There is flexibility in curriculum depending on the specialized skill sets of instructor.
