Our school is busy with the end of the year teaching and learning.  The teachers are pushing to get the curriculum taught, and preparing students for the next grade.

There will be a number of exciting offerings in the school over the last two weeks:

May 22-23       The 5th grade class will be going on their overnight field trip to Bannack and Butte.  They                 will be loading the bus at 7:30 am on the 22nd.  A big thank-you goes out to so many of                           you who supported their fundraising efforts.

May 25                        Spring junior high reward activity.  Students who have earned enough points for good                                  behavior will be going on a swimming activity.

The Darby Schools Excellence Fund will again be hosting our annual Summer Benefit Dinner and Auction on June 23rd, 2012.  Tickets are available at the Elementary Office.

A major part of the fundraising effort involves a live auction and a silent auction.  Donations are greatly appreciated.  Any parent or friend of Darby Schools is welcome to donate a gift certificate for a service or a product (homemade crafts, artwork, firewood, etc).  Contact Loyd Rennaker if you are interested in donating, or if you have any questions.  During this past school year, the money raised has provided over $28,000 to the programs and groups of Darby Schools!!!
