Our MBI Behavior Support Team has started a new program to recognize students of the week.  Two students will be selected from the K-4, and from the 5-7 grades.  The first winners were, Emma McDowell in kindergarten, William Martin in 3rd grade, Madison Conner in 5th grade and Kobe Leidner in the 6th grade.  They will be recognized on bulletin boards and in the weekly newsletter.  There were many nominees for the first week!!!

Mrs. Vogt is interested in starting a lego center in the elementary library.  This will be used to generate interest in reading non-fiction books.  If you have any legos that you would be willing to donate, she would greatly appreciate it.

With the change in the weather, please make sure your children are dressing appropriately.  Layers seem to work the best as the days are chilly in the morning and get warmer in the afternoon.  If you need help with warm coats for winter, contact Mr. Kohn.

4-H Recruitment Night in Darby on Tuesday, Oct 29 at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria.  This is for all youth ages 5-18 and adults who might be interested.  Raising great kids is a challenging task, but it’s easier when you have a team of people behind you. 4-H clubs are groups of families that do just that. Through working together, families share knowledge and interests to help kids learn practical skills and important values.  Come learn what 4-H is and how you can be a part of this awesome program in your community. For questions, contact your MSU/Ravalli County Extension Office, 375-6611 or katelyna@montana.edu
