Congratulations to the Students of the Week: Aubrie Leidner, Ryder Conner
(grades 5-8 will be choosing a student of the month only)

On Wednesday the 23rd, our school will participate with over 90,000 others in our region in the Great Rocky Mountain Shakeout. Our school will follow our safety protocol during the drill, and then use our standard evacuation procedure to get out of the building as soon as it is over. Students will be prepared for this drill, and will be given a chance to review after its completion. For more information visit: http://www.shakeout.org/rockymountain/

The Junior High fall sports seasons wrapped up last week. Congratulations to the 8th grade volleyball team for their second place finish at the small school tournament in Lone Rock. 4-H Recruitment Night in Darby on Tuesday, Oct 29 at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. This is for all youth ages 5-18 and adults who might be interested. Raising great kids is a challenging task, but it’s easier when you have a team of people behind you. 4-H clubs are groups of families that do just that. Through working together, families share knowledge and interests to help kids learn practical skills and important values. Come learn what 4-H is and how you can be a part of this awesome program in your community.
