  • Prom Royalty: Congratulations to King – Michael Brewer, Queen – Breanna Brickey, Prince – Zach McCrossin, and Princess – Sarah Costello.

  • School Board Elections are Today in the High School Gym foyer.  Please leave the front row of parking open to the voters.

  • SENIOR GIRLS- Adair Jewellers is giving all Darby Senior Girls a free gift pendant for graduation.  You are welcome to come in and get their gift anytime between now and June 30th, 2015 at 1325 S Reserve Street Missoula, MT 59801.

  • Starting May 2nd - Morgan Shull, Mrs. Beebe and the Life Skills students will be selling vegetable and flowering plants that are being grown in the greenhouse to support Special Olympics and sustain the greenhouse.

  • The students are selling tickets to the Dinner Theatre on May 5.  Ticket Prices - $12.00 / adult and $10.00 / child..  All staff and student body will be watching the play on Wednesday.

  • ACT Make up day is Tuesday, May 3rd for those Juniors that were not able to attend the 1st testing.   See Mr. Kohn this week to fill out the paperwork in advance.  

  • Drivers Ed: The Mandatory Parent Meeting has changed to May 31st at 6PM in Mrs. Toynbee's’ Room.

  • The winners of the Friends of the Darby Library Poetry Contest. The library extends thanks to Jean Driescher, Sheila Maraigh, and Lowell Jaeger for judging the contest, and announces the following contest winners.  K-3: 1st-Hayden Pelkey for her poem entitled “Cats and Dogs” 2nd- Savannah Mangold for “Lions Lick Lollipops” 3rd-Madison Magruder for “Flowers” Grades 4th- 7th: 1st Kiera Walker for “Rain” 2nd -  Alyssa Steele for “Ocean”  8th- 12th 1st & 2nd - Evangeline Campbell for “Inspiration to Lead” and “Feathers” 3rd- Rylee Nelson for “18 Drones”. Poetry will remain on display through May 3rd in the library. Prizes may be claimed at the library during regular open hours.

  • The 8th grade class of 2020 will be conducting a spirit wear sale this week.  On Monday afternoon the students will come to each class and distribute information for students to take home. In the envelope is a flyer/order form and a return to school envelope.  The deadline for returning order forms will be Friday, April 29.  If you want to see the items earlier than Monday visit www.spiritandpride.com.  The School ID # is 164533. You can also order right from the website, or you can return the envelope to their classroom teacher in the elementary/junior high.  High school students envelopes will be collected at the office.

  • MSU Billings will be in the library at lunch today.  Stop by and see what they can offer you.

  • Mr Bridges is running out of chargers again. Pretty please with sugar check your lockers, backpacks, and home for laptop chargers. Also, he has several names still on the list that have laptops checked out for daily use and not returned. Please return all laptops that are not being used.

  • Amazing  job to Mr. Petrusaitis and the following Darby Music students. Superior Scores: Sanda Paul, Kassidy Anderson, Breanna Nelson, Riley McConnell, Kyle Wall Excellent Scores: Aaron Hansen, Dustin Hunter, Drum Line, Woodwind Quartet, Choir… All of the Darby student that participated in the Music Festival last friday received an Excellent or better.
