  • Any announcements to be made should be given to the principal's secretary prior to the last period of the day before they are to be run. All announcements must be approved by the principal.

  • Are you interested in songwriting, vocal and instrument recording, music sampling and then recording your finished product in our new MAPS Recording Studio? How about building robots, create mobile apps or create and design your own video game? If so, go to the MAPS site, mapsmediainstitute.com and fill out an application for their technology or music class. Classes start on Monday, September 22nd.

  • Juniors and Seniors that want to take the ACT must register before September 19th.
  • Student council elections will be held on Monday, September 15th in the high school gym. Speeches will be first and voting will follow. High school will be 3rd period and 7th and 8th grade will be 4th period.

  • Cross country meet at Ronan starts 1pm tomorrow.

  • Remember to pay your activity fee. High school $60 and middle school $40.
  • Remember to turn in these forms: 
    • computer checkout form
    • student handbook form
    • backpacking permission slip
    • 18-year olds: bring a note from your parents that allows you to check yourself in and out of school and sign your own permission slips if you’d like to do that.

Today’s Events: 

  • JH StuCo Election day today.
  • JH Volleyball at Valley starts at 4pm.
  • JV Football home game Victor starts at 4pm.
  • School board meeting at 6pm tonight.
  • High school campaign week extended through this week.

  • Last day to buy raffle tickets for Darby Espresso. One dollar could get you a ten dollar certificate!
  • Girls tennis players!  Return your uniforms right now!
  • Drivers Education class begins Monday, June 2nd at 2:00. Attendance is mandatory.
  • Girls basketball practice begins Tuesday from 5-6:30 for our first summer tournament - one week from Saturday.
  • Summer job available - mow yard and change pipe over the summer in Darby. Contact Debbie Johnston for more information.
