Announcements:


  • The Food Drive competition has ended. Please continue to bring food until Friday, because it will help a family in need.

  • On January 2nd, the day we return to school, at 1:00-2:30 pm Tricia Seifert, from MSU Bozeman’s, PI – Blueprints for Student Success will be here to present her research project-Tabletop University.  She will be introducing & playing the game with Juniors & Seniors.  Any Junior or Senior student who is interested in playing the game please sign up today with Mrs. Thomason so we have a count before winter break.

  • Wrestling in Whitefish, today, December 20th at 5:00 pm

  • Ski papers for grades 7-12 PE are due Friday, December 21st.

  • Sophomores! The HOBY applications are in. For a chance to experience this wonderful leadership camp at the end of the this school year, see Mr. Dufresne.

  • "Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt." Love that motto. Want to help someone be brave in the attempt? Sign up to be a Special Olympics buddy! See Mrs. Hedges for details.

  • Jordan Patterson from Missoula College will be here Thursday, January 3rd to help students sign up for spring semester dual enrollment classes. This will take place in Mr. Gideon’s  room during 2nd period. All students interested in dual enrollment please plan on attending. Questions? Please see Mrs. Thomason.


Upcoming Events:


  • Winter Break starts December 22nd! Have a safe vacation and we will see all of you back on January 2nd to start out 2019!

  • The Montana Youth Serve Scholarship applications are now open. Any seniors that earned 100 hours of community service receive a scholarship for $1000. See Mr. Kohn or the Darby Counseling website for the application.  

  • Seniors, the Montana University System Honor Scholarship has arrived in Mr. Kohn’s office. Please stop by for an application.

  • Seniors, the applications for the Bitterroot Women's Club Scholarship has just arrived.  See Mr. Kohn for an application.

  • Seniors do you need help with a scholarship application?  Help will arrive on Friday, Jan. 11th from 12:30-3:30pm in the Spanish room.  Mr. Steven Coop from Reach Higher Montana will be here to help with essay writing & reviewing, completing applications, researching scholarship opportunities and to answer all your questions.  This will be a working session so bring your scholarship applications and essays and attend!


Darby Tigers are positive, respectful, responsible, safe, and they graduate!
