Notices & Reminders:

  • Interested in taking a backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon over spring break??!!?  You heard me right.  Backpacking in the Grand Canyon through the school.  See the posters soon to be up around the school or talk to Mr. Olson about it.  Darby Schools will be taking a select number of students backpacking in the Grand Canyon this spring break!!!

  • The December 12th ACT test is rapidly approaching.  Mr. Rennaker and Mrs. Burdette are offering free ACT Prep.  Wednesday Mrs. Burdette will offer English/Reading/Writing prep at 7:30 & Thursday Mr, Rennaker will offer math prep at 7:30 am and.  This is open to any 8-12 student that is planning on taking the ACT.

  • The Darby "Sharing Tree"  will once again be offered to the children of Darby.  The tree will be on display at the Darby branch of Farmer's State Bank.  Local families may participate in either giving or receiving from the tree.  

  • Class of 2016 Senior & Baby Pictures Due to Mrs. Burdette by Jan 31st

  • If you need Coats, hats, or gloves please see Mr. Kohn.

  • Open Gym: High School Girls BBall Tuesday, Thursday and Friday right after school. Boys BBall Monday and  Wednesday after school.

  • Check out the year Book posters in the red bench hallway. Buy your yearbook this year for only $25.00 on sale now at www.TreeRing.com/validate. This year you can personalized your yearbook with two personal photo pages.

  • Darby High School is searching for another outstanding Junior Girl to represent Darby High School at Girl's State this summer.  This is a tremendous leadership opportunity for a junior girl.  Ask Lily Lang or Tori Johnston about the experience.  They represented Darby the last two years.  See Mr. Kohn if you want an application.

  • If anyone is interested in going to  A Tribute to Count Basie Jazz Concert, at the University of Montana please see Mr. P for free tickets. Only 5 tickets are available and will be first come first serve.  The concert is tonight at 7:30 PM.

Today’s Events:

  • Vaccinations must be completed and recorded at the High School Office.

  • Mid-Point of 2nd Quarter

  • Junior High Boys Basketball in Darby against Victor (4:30 pm Start)

    • There is only a 7th Grade game

Future Event:

Saturday – November 21st  

  • Junior High Boys Basketball in Florence – 10:00 am start (Bus leaves at 8:30am)

  • Civic Club Dance & Art Auction – 7:00 pm in Cafeteria

November 23rd & 24th: Model United Nations

November 26th-29th: No School Thanksgiving Break

December 12th: ACT Test
