Announcements:

  • Today is an Early Release day for Parent Teacher Conferences. School will be out at 1:00 with Parent/Teacher conferences starting at 1:30 in the High School gym for grades 8-12.

  • All Valley Basketball game Tuesday, March 12th in Hamilton at 6:00.

  • Good News!!!  We have reached our red ticket goal, which means the reward fun day is just around the corner. The day will be Friday the 15th. Stay tuned for more details.

  • Grand Canyon Backpacking meeting in Mr. Olson’s room Friday, March 15th at 10:30

  • Many of the scholarship deadlines are March 15th. Please make sure you get your applications done on time. See Mr. Kohn if you have questions.

  • I Still Love to Read is in full swing.  Get your reading sheets from Mr. Dufresne or Mrs. McCrossin.  Gather your tickets from Mrs. McCrossin. Boxes are at the office.  Over $240 in prizes!

  • There will be a school wide talent show on Thursday, March 28th. A sign up sheet will be at the office. See Mr. P. for more details.

  • Attention all food lovers-Triple Creek Pastry Chef, Natasha Platt will be teaching a culinary arts class on Friday, March 15th in the Life Skill kitchen from 9:30-12:00.  Come learn how to make cheesecake, pate a choux, pastry cream and ganache! Limited space available so you need to sign up with Mrs. Thomason by Wednesday.


Upcoming Events:


  • Thursday, March 14th at 2:45, there will be an assembly for grades K-7 for “I Love to Read Month” awards.

  • Inter-Valley Wrestling qualifiers on Saturday, March 16th starting at 9:00 in Corvallis.

  • Spring Break week is March 16th through March 24th. We hope you have a safe vacation and come back refreshed on March 25th!

  • Mr. Kohn has received the packets for any students that would like to become an airline flight attendant. Stop by his office if you are interested.


Darby Tigers are positive, respectful, responsible, safe, and they graduate!
