Announcements:

  • The end of the 3rd Quarter is this Thursday!

  • HS girls basketball meeting Tuesday after school to turn in uniforms and vote awards.  Be there!

  • Youth Legislature meeting tomorrow in Mr. Gideon’s room at lunch.

  • Junior boys that would like to represent Darby at Boys state this year need to stop by and see Mr. Kohn.

  • Many of the scholarship deadlines are March 15th. Please make sure you get your applications done on time. See Mr. Kohn if you have questions.

  • School Board Planning Meeting in the High School Library Tuesday, March 5th at 4:00

  • Spring sports practices start Monday, March 11th! If you don’t have your physical form and paperwork completed, please stop by the office.

  • While we are little behind the 8-ball, the I Love to Read basket extravaganza is back!  Get your reading sheets from Mrs. McCrossin and get reading.

  • Junior High Girls Basketball in Darby Thursday, March 7th at 4:30

  • Baseball Sign-Ups in the cafeteria Thursday, March 7th from 5:00-7:00. Anyone interested in baseball this spring, come sign up!

  • NO SCHOOL Friday, March 8th. This is a training day for teachers.

  • Junior High Girls Basketball in Darby Friday, March 8th at 4:00

  • Little Guy Wrestling in Corvallis Saturday, March 9th starting at 9:00

  • Mr. Kohn has received the packets for any students that would like to become an airline flight attendant. Stop  by his office if you are interested.

  • Attention all food lovers-Triple Creek Pastry Chef, Natasha Platt will be teaching a culinary arts class on Friday, March 15th in the Life Skill kitchen from 9:30-12:00.  Come learn how to make cheesecake, pate a choux, pastry cream and ganache! Limited space available so sign up with Mrs. Thomason soon.


Darby Tigers are positive, respectful, responsible, safe, and they graduate!
