Did You Know? Max Baucus is the senior United States Senator from Montana and a member of the Democratic Party. He has been our senator since 1978 making him Montana's longest-serving senator, and the third longest-serving of current U.S. senators. Did you know that Senator Baucus completed a 50-mile ultramarathon? That’s like running to Missoula from Hamilton!
