Darby High School Daily Announcements


Lunch Today: Spookghetti w/Meat Sauce & Breadsticks, Fruit & Veggie Bar Milk

  • MUN meeting today at Lunch in Mr. Gideon's room!!

  • XC had a GREAT XC Meet in Arlee: In Junior High---Cullen Duggan got third, Andrew Thomas was 7th. The girls were AMAZING: Morgan Mangold was 10th, Karli Pyles was 7th, Sammy Shull got 2nd.
    For the High School Team: Gracie was first, winning by over two minutes...whoa, you'll get a speeding ticket if you keep that up. Evan was first, winning by a minute, Jordan was 7th and Donavon was 4th...As a team the boys got first place. EVERYone ran really well, so give the XC kids a High Five if you see them.

  • It is time to start thinking about applying for schooling to further you education after high school.  Please make your appt with Mr. Kohn to do this. Each senior that stops by and turns in an application will receive a $100 scholarship to a school of their choice

  • Interact members!  Don’t forget the inaugural dinner is this Tonight, 6:00 at the Darby Family Restaurant.  Please do your best to be in attendance.  Besides, how can you pass up a free dinner?

  • Teachers! Please remember to take a count of the number of students dressed up 1st period.  Email a list of the number of freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors who dressed up to Mr. D by the end of the day.  Thanks!

  • Students!  Remind your teachers to get a dress up count during 1st period!  The number will help determine who is the first to possess the Spirit Cup!

  • Thursday HOSA Meeting @ 12:20 High School Library

  • Congrats to Trevor Willhite, this week’s student of the week!

  • Any students interested in playing Boys Basketball this season. Please come and sign in at Mr. bryers Room so we can get an estimate of how many students we have playing.

  • National Honor Society Application are due to Mr. Olson by Friday October 7th, 2016.

  • Spirit Cup points are posted on the walls and up on Tiger Vision.  Check them out!  Which class is going to win the 1st ever Spirit Cup for homecoming week!

  • The Adventure Based Learning Club is accepting applications for new members.  If you are interested in overnight hiking, backpacking and cross country skiing with the adventure club please find Mr. Olson or Lisa for an application. Membership is open to all high school students. Deadline for the winter adventures 2016/17 is November 1st.

  • “Class of the Classes”  Volleyball Match at 10:00am

  • Homecoming Parade lineup at 2:00pm

  • Homecoming Parade at 2:30pm (Same route as last year)

  • Junior High Football in Darby at 4:00pm

  • High School Football in Darby at 7:00pm

  • Senior Night Recognition for Football & Cross Country will be right before the game

             Anyone walking out with a senior - please be at the field by 6:30pm.

  • Darby High School Class of 1966 recognition at halftime

  • Crowning of Homecoming royalty at halftime
