Announcements:


  • Skate club is firing back up!  If you skateboard or are interested in skateboarding, see Mr. Dufresne for details.

  • Darby Installation Art: The Darby Art students will be displaying installation art in and around the school from August 27 to September 7. The art will be placed in specific areas and is designed to bring happiness, curiosity, and wonder to areas that may usually be overlooked.

  • It’s RAGS AND RICHES DAY.  Teachers, all who students who dressed up will be released at 8:35 to the red bench hallway for a photo.

  • Fall college visit sign up sheet is in Lucille Thomason's office.  Campus visits available include; MSU, U of M, MT Tech and associated 2-year campuses.   Sites visited will be set based on interest. Deadline to sign up is Tuesday, Sept. 18th.

  • MAPS Institute Community Open House to be held September 12th from 4:30-6:30 pm.  Lucille will be driving and provide transportation for up to 7 students. Please stop by her office to sign up.  Information on the MAPS Institute is available on the College & Career bulletin board outside her office and sign up sheet is inside her office.  Deadline to sign up is Monday, Sept. 10th.


Homecoming Spirit Results:


  • Monday’s dress up day results:

    • 1st   Sophomores 47.8%

    • 2nd  Seniors         43.4%

    • 3rd   8th graders   41.7%

    • 4th   Juniors          30%

    • 5th   Freshmen     25%

  • Spirit Cup Results (so far)

    • 1st place - the sophomores

    • 2nd place - the seniors


Upcoming Events:

  • Volleyball versus Salmon on Thursday

  • Homecoming Volleyball versus Lincoln on Friday

  • Homecoming Parade at 10:00 at Water Street ending at the High School

  • Booster Club BBQ followed by the Football game versus Plains at 1:00 PM, with the crowning of Homecoming royalty at Halftime!


Darby Tigers are positive, respectful, responsible, safe, and they graduate!
