Notices & Reminders
  • Students!  Are you constantly wishing for new and exciting candy in the vending machine?  Talk to a STUCO member about what you would like to see in the machine, and we will try to make it happen.
  • Here’s the results of the sports-player-fees contest: Girls are ahead at 11 paid so far. The boys are trailing with only 5 paid so far. Get your fees paid today so that you don’t have to serve food to the other team!
  • Thanksgiving pie orders: The Spanish Club will take orders for pies from now until November 19th. The pies will be delivered to Mrs.Perlinger's the day before Thanksgiving on Wednesday November 21st.. Cost: Pumpkin--$8, Apple--$10, Cherry--$12.
  • Seniors!  You might want to think about having a class meeting sometime soon to start preparations for the senior trip.
  • Student Council members!  Remember to bring your food and drink to the Veterans Day assembly Friday morning.

Wrestling Announcement
Nothing is more mentally or physically challenging than wrestling. Come be a part of a Championship Program and wrestle for Darby/Corvallis. The first practice is November 15th. Pick up your athletic participation forms in Mr. Marsh’s classroom. You and your parents need to fill them out completely. Wrestlers get out of their last class early, and are driven to Corvallis and back each day. Challenge yourself - wrestle!

Today’s Events
  • No sporting events scheduled today.
  • There will be a National Honor Society meeting at 12:20 today in Mr. Fladstol's room.  All current and new members need to be present.
  • Today is an early out at one o’clock for parent teacher conferences. Parent teacher conferences for grades 5-12 will be held in the high school gym until 7 o’clock pm.
  • There will be a Potato Bar Dinner fundraiser for the Spanish Club in the cafeteria during Parent Teacher Conferences. The cost is $5 per person or $20.00 per family and you get a large potato with chili, onion, sour cream, cheese, butter, salt & pepper--plus a brownie for dessert.

Heads up for tomorrow:
  • Veteran’s assembly at 10am in the high school gym.
  • Junior high boys basketball away game at Florence starts at 4pm. The bus departs at 2:15pm.
