All Applications must include:     

  1. Application Form (fillable online)
  2. Cover Letter
  3. Resume
  4. Three References with contact information
  5. NCPA Form

Completed Teaching Applications must include the above and the following:

 

  1. Transcripts (copies are acceptable for the initial application)
  2. Copy of appropriate teaching certificate

  3. Submit a statement on the following - Express your philosophy of education as it pertains to the position for which you are applying.

Substitute Teacher Special Instructions

In addition to completing steps 1-5 for "All Applications," Substitute teaching positions must provide completed fingerprints and submit to a background check.

 

1. Get fingerprints done:

  • City Hall (406-821-3743) - $30.00
  • Ravalli County Sheriff's Office (406-375-4060) - $25.00
  • Missoula Police Department (406-552-6000) - $11.00

2. Return fingerprint card with check or money order of $30.00 made out to the Department of Criminal Justice. (This fee of $30.00 will be refunded after you have subbed five times).

 

3. Once our office receives a clean fingerprint report from the state (appx two weeks), and we have a completed application, you will be placed on the next Board agenda for hiring approval.
