Dear Darby School District Families,

As summer begins to wind down, I want to extend a warm welcome back to all of our students, families, and staff. I hope your summer has been filled with time to relax, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends. We are excited to welcome everyone back for another outstanding school year at the Darby School District.

We invite all of our families to join us for our Back-to-School BBQ on Monday, August 17, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to drop off their school supplies, meet their teachers, reconnect with friends, and become familiar with their classrooms before the first day of school. We look forward to bringing our school community together as we kick off another exciting year.

The first day of school is Tuesday, August 19. Our teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing classrooms, planning engaging learning experiences, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed. We are eager to welcome our students back and begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement.

At Darby School District, we remain committed to providing world-class opportunities in a small-school setting. Whether through academics, athletics, the arts, career and technical education, or the many extracurricular activities available to our students, our goal is to ensure every child feels challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential.
