ELEMENTARY NEWSLETTER
Our Mission at Darby School:
Every student that graduates from Darby Public Schools is college/career and
community ready.
March. 2025
The elementary leadership students will support the Special Olympics on the 4th and 5th. Mr. Biesoit will take the 4th-5th grade students on Tuesday and I will take the 6th-7th graders on Wednesday. This will be a half day field trip and students will return by lunch.
There will be an “I Love to Read” assembly on the 4th to see which students will receive a bicycle or go on the Reading Reward Trip on the 6th. We hope to see you there.
Students can pay $1 to wear their pajamas to school on the 7th. The money collected from this event will be deposited in the student leadership account.
Don’t forget to spring forward on the 9th for daylight savings time.
The regular school board meeting is on the 10th at 6:00pm in the high school library.
There will be no school on the 10th for students. This is a professional development day for the staff.
St. Patrick’s Day is on the 17th. Don’t forget to dress your student with some green.
We will have another Family Night on the 20th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. There will be free food, activities for the children, presentations for the parents and prizes for the adults.
The end of the third quarter in on the 21st. Please look for report cards on April 1st.
Spring Break is the 22nd through the 30th, be safe and enjoy the family time.
Reminder: The second graders will start their swimming lessons in April.
