For any high school and junior high students interested in participating in a fall sport, a mandatory parent/player meeting will be held on August 13th at 6:00 pm in the high school gym.

The Darby School District is excited to announce a new partnership with the Bitterroot Aquatic Center. Darby is surrounded by some of the best water to recreate and enjoy from Lake Como to the Bitterroot River. That is why the district is thrilled to announce that swim lessons will now be a part of the curriculum for grades Early Childhood Literacy(TK) thru 3rd. Each grade will have six swim lessons on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am to 10 am. TK, K, and 1st grade will be in the fall and 2nd and 3rd grade will be in the late spring. The Darby School District will provide transportation and supervision of the students up to the Bitterroot Aquatic Center where the students will receive swim lesson instruction from the certified staff at the Bitterroot Aquatic Center. This place based learning opportunity will provide students with knowledge and skills to enhance their water experience and help provide a foundation for a future lifelong activity. Here is the tentative schedule:
